May 19th – 23rd
Can you believe it? We’re just three weeks away from wrapping up another incredible school year!
As we head into the final stretch, I want to take a moment to celebrate all the amazing work you’ve done and offer a bit of encouragement as we begin to wind down the year together.
This week, our Grade 12 students are immersed in graduation events—powerful moments that mark a major milestone in their educational journey. These celebrations reflect their hard work and achievements, and they also shine a light on the care, guidance, and support you’ve offered over the years. Watching them step confidently into their futures is a powerful reminder of why we do this work.
What makes it even more special is that our connection to these students doesn’t begin in high school—it’s nurtured from the earliest years, highlighted by our Grade 2 students and their connection to our seniors. This week will be full of emotion—joy, nostalgia, excitement—as we reflect on the journeys of our graduates and the role we’ve all played in helping them get here.
Let’s also hold space for our colleagues who are marking a personal milestone, watching their own children graduate and move on. It’s a big moment for them, too.
As the year winds down, take a moment to reflect on the growth we’ve witnessed in our students—and in ourselves. There’s so much to be proud of, and even more to look forward to.
Thank you for your continued commitment and heart. It’s your energy and passion that make this school such a special place for our students. Let’s keep showing up for each other and finish strong.
Traffic Safety Form
We have some ES members who have not completed the form. If you are not sure if you have, ask Edward, and he can look it up.
In alignment with Directive 31 and Directive 494 issued by the Vietnamese Government and the District 7 Department of Education and Training on Traffic safety and Driving responsibility, all faculty and staff who intend to park on campus are requested to submit a copy of valid driver’s license along with the required vehicle information.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping us ensure a safe and compliant school environment.
Please complete the Google Form below as part of the submission:
Deadline: Wednesday, May 7th, 2025
This submission is mandatory for all faculty and staff, even if you do not drive a motorbike to school. Completing the form and submitting the required documents will allow us to allocate a parking space based on your vehicle type.
END-OF-YEAR CELEBRATION
Mark the date. June 3rd, from 3:30 – 6:00 we will have our end-of-year celebration at Malt South. More details here.
#DragonsIgnite
Our first graders have become budding engineers and programmers! This week, I witnessed their journey into LEGO robotics and coding. They expertly collected pieces and collaborated to build their robots, demonstrating great teamwork. Then came the magic of coding, as they brought their creations to life with specific instructions. This hands-on experience, integrated with their science lessons on forces, lays a crucial foundation for STEAM skills throughout elementary school. I look forward to more collaborations as we build onto these skills in all grade levels. ~ Danai.
